flying across to the Isle of Wight within ten minutes on the
hovercraft or taking your car across on a choice of ferry routes that

to Fishbourne ferry takes approximately 40 minutes and is equipped to
carry both vehicles and foot passengers. On board facilities include
a cafe, bar, lounge and observation deck. This service leaves from
the Gunwharf Car Ferry Terminal, post code for gps purposes is PO1

Car: The ferry
port is just over one mile from the M275 motorway. Follow signs to
'ferries' once you leave the motorway. You can access the M275 via
most incoming main routes including the M27, M3, A3, A27, A31 and
A36. Car parking is available.
Trains:
Portsmouth Harbour rail terminal is a short walk to the ferry port
and has direct links to London Waterloo and London Victoria plus
Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, and Southampton. You can pre-book

National Express operate a direct coach service to Portsmouth Harbour. |
Portsmouth
to Ryde, Isle of Wight Ferry |

The fastest
passenger only connection is provided by the high speed FastCat
catamarans which crosses between Portsmouth and Ryde. This crossing
takes just 18 minutes. This service leaves from Portsmouth Harbour

Lymington
to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight |

The Lymington
to Yarmouth ferry takes 30 minutes. The ferries are equipped with
lounges, cafe, bar and observation decks. This service leaves from

Car: Exit
junction 1 of the M27 and then follow the signs for 'Isle of Wight
ferries' on the A337.
Trains:
Lymington has a branch line service to Brokenhurst where you can get

Southsea
to Ryde, Isle of Wight Hovercraft |

You can fly
across to the Isle of Wight in less than ten minutes on the Southsea
to Ryde hovercraft. Although no cars are allowed on board, you can
take a bicycle (subject to space). Sailings operate every 30 minutes
during the summer months. Southsea

Car: From the
M27 join M275 and then join the A3 heading towards the seafront. You
will then see signs to the hovercraft. A car park is situated
opposite the Hover travel terminal.
Trains: The
nearest station is Portsmouth and Southsea. From there you can catch
the Hoverbus to the terminal for £1.
